What We Took Away from the 40th Agritechnica 2025
Seven days, almost half a million visitors
Agritechnica 2025 marked the 40th edition of the world’s largest agricultural trade fair. Over the course of seven days, the event brought together almost half a million visitors from all over the world – farmers, manufacturers, ag-tech companies, and industry professionals.
We attended with our own booth and spoke twice on the Digital Expert Stage, presenting FarmBooker as an AI-powered farm management software and sharing the direction we are actively building toward.
For us, Agritechnica was not just about being present. It was about listening, explaining, and understanding what farmers actually need today.
Expert Stage: focusing on time, money, and simplicity
On the Digital Expert Stage, our talks focused on very concrete, everyday challenges:
- how FarmBooker helps farms save time and reduce operational costs
- how a farm can be digitized in as little as 10 minutes
- how AI allows farmers to instantly digitize existing data, not just start fresh

A key message was that digitalization does not require a clean break from the past. Farmers can upload their existing Excel files and previous records and immediately turn them into structured, usable data.
After both sessions, conversations continued off stage. People stayed, asked practical questions, and shared real problems from their farms. We documented these moments with photos, because real interaction matters more than presentation time alone.
What farmers were actually looking for
Throughout the week, we spoke with farmers from all over the world – from Europe and the United States to Australia, with Europe being the most represented region.

What became very clear was that farmers were not asking for complex systems.
They were looking for simple solutions that work immediately.
What they cared about most:
- an easy step away from Excel
- no complicated onboarding
- quick value, without technical friction
AI attracted attention, but simplicity and speed were what truly resonated.
The moment farmers realized they could upload what they already had and keep working without disruption, conversations changed.
A personal takeaway: progress happens step by step
One of the strongest impressions was the scale of the event and its flawless organization. By the end of the fair, more than 476,000 visitors had passed through the exhibition halls.
At the same time, Agritechnica once again showed that agriculture evolves gradually. Technology moves fast, but adoption happens step by step.
This is exactly where we see FarmBooker’s role – not pushing farms too far ahead too quickly, but helping them move forward in a way that makes sense, at their own pace.
What Agritechnica 2025 confirmed
This year’s Agritechnica reinforced several key insights:
- Farmers want digital tools that are easy to adopt
- Time savings and clarity matter more than advanced features alone
- AI creates value only when it simplifies work, not when it adds complexity
For us, the fair confirmed that building practical, farmer-first software is the right direction and that there is strong global interest in solutions built around real farm workflows.
Final thoughts
Agritechnica 2025 was intense, demanding, and extremely valuable.
We returned with new contacts, clearer insights, and strong confirmation that farm management software must adapt to farmers – not the other way around.
Until the next Agritechnica, we keep building.
